This is my horse Sunshine. She’s taught me a lot. I gained trust with her that was stronger than any other. Yes, we have had our moments. But, she’s made me stronger and made me realize not only am I helping her, but she’s helped me!
She has taught me to gain trust and helped me learn responsibility. Her personality at first was kind of stubborn; she wanted to test me. Lol. And now she’s really laid back but, still has a small attitude.
There was a horse across the road who had a problem with getting out of the fence and it would come across the road and aggravate Sunshine who would get upset and started kicking through the fence (barbwire). One time, she cut her front right hoof nearly slap off. She was treated and was in the round pen for a week and a half or so and during the whole time she was put up, the thought of infection kept just crossing my mind and I knew at that moment that she wasn’t ready to let go. Like she hadn’t done the things she wanted to do and all and this made me open my eyes and realize you never know how much you have until it’s almost over.
