This picture is of me and my ex racehorse George doing our very first cross country course at Hamley Hagg Appleton Le Moors in North Yorkshire. I got George fresh out of racing. He raced on the Monday; I rode him up the gallops on the Tuesday; I brought him home on the Wednesday. I’ve had him for 3 years and he’s the best horse I’ve ever had. All he wants to do is please you; he is so willing it’s unreal.
This picture is of George and I completing our very first cross country course, which I was dreading as I thought he would just go back into race mode, but he didn’t; he was fantastic. I think we have found our calling.
