Her name is Myrna. She’s not my pony (I have 2 others), but I have known her for four years. On our farm, we have a big lake and there we swim with our 5 horses. Myrna and I love the water, and every time she’s in the water, she splashing in the water with her legs and drinking the water. We also make a picnic by the water with Myrna.

Last Saturday afternoon, my uncle saw two mares wondering in the pasture near by, when he looked closer he saw something white lying in the ground. He thought it was a foal…I thought I should go and visit the mares and this “white thing”. When I came there was a big NEW born foal lying in the ground and the mother was standing close to him; it was the sweetest thing ever.

I want to show you my 23 year old horse, Noble Boy. You may remember him from a year ago. He was supposed to go to slaughter. That was now 3 years ago . He’s just a little clown who enjoys his life with me and he’s still healthy! He always make me smilie!

This is a picture from the “Gold Kramer Stiftung” stable. There you can see a climbing aid for the disabled, which are not able to get on the horse on their own (paraplegia, etc.). It’s like an elevator. You sit down on this climbing aid, put you arms over the sides and then it pulls you up and swings over the horse and then it goes slowly downwards on the horses back.

In this picture is my haflinger mare Blanka. She is 8 years old and we come from germany. I have had her since October 2010. She’s a dream of a horse. She has a lovely personality and a great charisma. She plays the main role in my life.

Our horse is a 19 year old Appy named Amber that had glaucoma and recurring uveitis. She was in a lot of pain and we were unable to get control of it, so we had to take her eye out. I took this picture the day after the surgery. My daughter, Brenna, is giving Amber a hug ‘cuz she feels bad’.

Poem by Agatha Kacprzak
I adopted a Horse today
The one someone gave up and I found at the Shelter
The one who gave someone years of pleasure but now, at his tender age…Nobody wanted

I adopted a Horse today
He suffered in the cold, had sores and tired bones
He lost weight and all trust
He didn’t want to play, or roll or run… or even eat
He was sad and hurt and it will take time and patience for him to regain his strenght and his trust.

I adopted a Horse today
And I swear to keep him safe, to love him unconditionally and to give him strenght and the Will to once again trust…

I adopted a Horse today
I made a difference today

This is Moon, a beautiful horse! I don’t own this horse, I care of her! For almost a year now! I ride 3 times a week and have lessons with her. I am thankful that her let me care for Moon!

I think that Moon and I have a special relationship because she follows me everywhere. We have our ups and downs, but we never give up. Also we have lessons now. She is a lovely horse with a special personality and we fit together.

My daughter found love for horses at a very young age. Patty was her first horse that she rode. Our sweet Patty passed a few years ago. The love she gave Lilly has made a permanent mark in heart and has filled her life with wonder memories.
