This is me and Jester! My best friend and the most awesome character ever! He brightens up everyone’s day

I saw Jester the first time when I was 12 years old, and it was love at first sight. For me anyway…he was so neglected and didn’t have much zest for life. He was skinny and no one really wanted him. I eventually found out who owned him and I leased him from her for a year. In that year, I had to learn how to ride on him. Needless to say, he threw me off every single day, but I loved him so much and I bought him from the owner.

It took me 2 years to gain his trust and since then we have been best friends. We have been together for 11 years now and he is the sweetest horse. Very playful, gets along with all other horses and he is just the best horse a girl can ask for. He follows me around everywhere, as in the picture .

We have had a few struggles with cancer, but 2 months ago we got the all clear and he is cancer free. Jester lights up every day for me and also makes everyone smile when they see him, as he always friendly and always looking for a carrot

Life is beautiful with him by my side!

This is my OTTB Violet. She came into my life about 6 years ago and I can’t imagine my life without her. She’s my best friend, my teammate, my shoulder to cry on, and the only one who’s never let me down. She gives me wings, she showed me how to trust, how to love, she taught me responsibility and hard work, determination and dedication.

She has the biggest heart of any horse I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. So blessed to have such a special friend in my life.
