A Special one of a kind girl. This was my horse Bip I asked for help with her last year when we lost our horse Ladybug. On February 19 of this year Bip passed away. I just wanted to share just what a special girl she was and about the bond me and her had as well as the special bond she had with my son. When Bip was a month old her mom coliced and had to be put down but we managed to save Bip. She stayed at my uncle’s farm till I was 11 or 12 when my uncle gave her to my mom and every chance I would get I was out there riding her when we got her she was only green broke thanks to my cousin and I don’t how I managed it at the age I was but I finished her. She had been threw a lot of the problems that happened in my life and she was always there for me she was on special girl if something was wrong I would go out and catch her which wasn’t easy because she always always knew when I wanted to go for a ride and wouldn’t let me catch her but I had my tricks I would use to catch her like going and brushing the other horses because she would get jealous if I did that and be right there pretty much saying hey brush me or I would use her love of horse treats and always have some on me and catch her that way. When I would ride her everything would just melt away and when I would get home life and my problems were easier. I could do just about anything with her from chasing cows much to my parents dismay they always would say I was making the beef tuff also didn’t help she would round the cows up and move them like I showed her without me on her.
She was one of those horses you could take out by themselves and wouldn’t have a probably but not just anyone could ride her only a few could. I could go if we had them inside go sit down in the stall with her and take a nap without a worry she wouldn’t care I could crawl underneath her no problem when I was on her I could lay with my arms around her neck and my feet on her butt and she would care. It was always funny to see me out riding her bareback because I almost never had shoes on I was barefoot. Since the first time I brought my son around her when he was even a year old she loved him. Bip was the first horse I ever put my son on he couldn’t even walk. This last summer I had started teaching him how to use the rains to turn her whichever way he wanted to go and she listened to him and was so good with him he was her kid. Anytime me and my son were out in the pasture she would always be right there smelling of him or just being close to him. Bip loved my son so very much and she loved me very much and we both loved her. She was the best friend anyone could ask for. She was apart of my family. There was so much I wanted to do with her and to teach my son to do with her but now I can’t and I don’t know what to do. She was a one of a kind girl. The picture of me and Bip was taken not long before she passed away and the picture of Bip and my son was from this last summer.
